Got back from my short trip to the Frisian island of Texel. Hmm... sounds odd, this island is not part of the Friesland province, this one is linked to the North-holland province, and thus it was easy for me to go there with public transport: Ferry, train, bus, ferry. Once I got off at the island, my sister was waiting with the car to pick me up.
We dropped my tiny bit of luggage, made a cup of tea and then off we went to the Slufter. I longed to see it, this Summer I skipped it because I was pretty sure my family members would not enjoy it in its full glory. But now I had the opportunity!
